The unique ability of Science to solving problems

The unique ability of Science to solve problems ...

[8th January 2023]

In one of the most profound
speeches ever made [e.g. most watched TED talk] Sir Ken Robinson provided both huge insights and great foresight by asking one question ... Do schools kill Creativity?

Humans are born curious, playful, collaborative and creative, and untapped talent and creativity needs to be unleashed ... which is why Jewel of a School® will also be helping to create a world that's Creative Inside® ...

And I love the beauty of science and the practical application of science. Science seeks to understand the way the world works and to explain what we see ... and can't see (e.g. inside the mind) ... why? ... to gain insight/knowledge, apply this knowledge and push the boundaries of knowledge ... and why? ... to solve problems ...

... and science powers what the Good Turns Foundation does too ... I love the work of Dr. Iain McGilchrist for instance ... whose landmark work on 'The Matter with Things' broadens our understanding of how the mind works (and both for and against us, humanity and the world), and why we are reaching a critical moment if we don't start listening more to the right side of our brain ...

The future is bright ... if we see the future, and embrace the future!
