Economics: looking backward ... and foward
Mainstream economics is probably one of the most outdated disciplines taught today ... and it does not centre upon improving humanity and/or planetary wellbeing. Basic questions immediately expose this - and here's just a few:

By answering such questions Purposeful Economics is created ... and an economics that starts to place human & planetary wellbeing at its heart (nb both are classed as 'externalities' in traditional economics) ... the foundations are here, e.g. GNH, Doughnut Economics, Regenerative Economics, and these will need to join together and grow (in scope & application) if we are to create a clear/purposeful economics, a thriving Purposeful Britain ... and a sustainable, flourishing, Purposeful World†.
