Good Points - Giving young people Hope and Opportunity

Today the Good Turns Foundation has formally announced plans to pilot its Jewel of a School Service, a fantastic new way to tackle the growing mental health crisis within schools, whilst boosting academic results and generating more resources for schools.
It is being launched by Good Turns, a not-for-profit Foundation, with it's mission of "creating a world where good is valued and people and communities thrive".
This unique service is designed to systematically boost motivation, improve mental well-being and levels of academic attainment. It will also give young people Hope and amazing Opportunities to thrive ... which, post pandemic, is needed more than ever (especially for students who are perhaps a little less academically minded) …
The system helps young people to successfully find a happy, meaningful and rewarding future by 'doing good'; good for others, good for communities and good for the environment ...
By doing Good, young people are awarded Good Points®, meaningful measures/rewards containing more detailed sub-categories e.g. Climate Points®, Environment Points®, Community Points®, Volunteer Points®, Charity Points®, Health Points®, Nutrition Points®, Tutoring Points®, Mentoring Points®, Creative Points® etc.
By earning Good Points® young people are 'rewarded' in many different ways. The primary 'reward' is intrinsic motivation, created from human-kind's natural instinct/desire to do good for others and the world around ...
And there are many additional 'rewards' ... for instance we will be uniquely helping young people to find their true self, their passions, motivation and inner creativity ... and in the future we'll be helping them to find their way into the kind of work they would most value too (e.g. by providing them unique references and training as they move into the world of work) ...
Parents and students are already raving about it and feedback is off the scale! ... and Schools will be awarded additional 'Diamond Points' for all the Good their schools create too!
In launching this service the Good Turns Foundation is playing it's part in helping to create a better future, 'our future', and a world where 'values' are 'valued' and people and communities thrive!
