What's your Vision, Mission and Purpose?
Some wise words here from Peter Jones, that apply to all business/organisations, and to our personal lives too ... dream big ... and if it's not big, grab a coffee, look in the mirror, reflect more, and think bigger ... what's your vision ... what's your mission, what's your purpose ...
... to do this one needs to think less about becoming "rich and famous" and far more about "for what" ... "what problems you would like to solve, the world would pay you to do, and you'd become famous for" ...
... it's about finding the things we as human-beings (and social animals) are passionate about, and others are passionate about too ... it's about rediscovering the natural, unique & intrinsic motivation we as humans gain from helping others, our wider communities and the environment - ie our humanity, that which makes us 'human'.
Clarity in all the above is essential to surviving and thriving, and there are big (and important) differences between vision, mission and purpose too ... what are they? how do I find mine? how do I find my organisation's? ... once there is clarity, what's the most effective way to bring them to life? Can this done quickly? Where's the best place to start? More questions, and just the start of the most amazing/fantastic journey!
